Pinkie was back in her office, once again trying to write a letter home about her adventures in Fandom. She'd finally given up on the whole "holding the pen in her mouth" concept, and was instead trying to use the computer.

This was somewhat difficult, as her hoof was about the size of half the keyboard. She tried hitting the keys at an angle, but it wasn't going too well.

She hadn't even gotten through the greeting when an ad popped up, directed to her through the magic of Google's extraordinarily sensitive ad focusing engines, which were capable of reading activity done even in an open draft of an email.

That was perfect! She'd totally be able to write her friends back in Ponyville if she had a ponyboard! She was going to have to requisition one from the school board right away!

"I will...definitely do that. Sometime," Petra said, and with a quick, "Bye!" she fled the office.

Her phone was full of messages like, I see the pink pony, too, Petra, and Why are you making faces with a pink pony? and, Dude, I hate to break it to you, but it's totally real how is it real? and the kicker, Why does it have balloons on its butt?

She was certain she hadn't told Nicole about the balloons on the hallucination's butt. Which meant she had to face facts. Pinkie Pie was, somehow, real.

Cancel the rescue, she texted to her friends. This place might be crazy but I'm sticking around.
